Batnvaders

Batnvaders is an arcade shooter for iPhone, built in the spirit of the machines that started all this. The title screen keeps it to three choices — play, high scores, settings — and everything else happens in the game itself.

Play is scored and levelled: the level and an eight digit score sit across the top of the screen throughout, and a run ends on a screen that does not dress it up.
