About Me
With a coding career spanning over 37 years, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing and contributing to the evolution of technology from the Commodore 64 to today’s iPhone and iPad.
My professional journey began at Binary Design Limited in the 80s, where I dived into the world of programming. I then embarked on a notable four-year tenure at Software Creations, immersing myself in the intricacies of Commodore 64 development and refining my craft.
Following this, I explored new opportunities with Hand Made Software and 3T Productions, each role enriching my experience and broadening my expertise. However, it was my 14 years at Barcrest Limited that truly defined my career. At Barcrest, I took on several key roles: as a Test Engineer, EMC and LVD Engineer, Games Software Engineer, and Product Software Engineer. Each role allowed me to deepen my skills and make significant contributions across different aspects of software and hardware engineering.
Currently, I’m celebrating a decade with a company that provides an eportfolio system for assessors, learners and employers, where I’ve been instrumental in developing their app for both iOS and Android. This role continues to challenge and inspire me as I work on cutting-edge solutions that enhance user experiences across platforms.
